Conducted in fulfillment of Honors in Economics at Dickinson College
My time working with a non-profit land conservancy and on organic farms, in tandem with my academic experience, has shaped my interest in sustainable development and local food systems. I plan to channel this interest towards assisting underserved and isolated communities in finding sustainable, equitable solutions that will allow them to evolve and grow in alignment with their culture and values. I believe that helping communities evaluate the assets that they already posses enables them to find the agency and autonomy neeeded to problem solve and build a resilient community.
